The vice president has never been a guy to open his mouth without something truly moronic falling out of it. (Here’s a great overview of some of Crazy Uncle Joe’s recent big f$%^ing gaffes.) Here’s an even better one, especially when you consider this:

All these recent examples of nuttiness have me wondering if Crazy Uncle Joe might not be ready to hit the Reagan wing of the Mental Hospital for Tired Politicians. But, of course, the big one is his doozy a few days ago claiming the Republicans were “going to put y’all back in chains…” (I just love the down-home Southern y’all…stay classy, Joe!) the Obama administration, in its classic strategy of double down on every dumb thing they do before backing off, supported the vice president’s verbal effluvia, but what a difference a few days of taking it on the chin make…
It’s enough that even Biden’s own Secret Service contingent are pretty glad when people turn him away from their businesses when he wants to use them as a campaign stop.
