Time for a little schooling on the budget crisis… Entitlements are the big expenditure that will collapse the national finances. (Just ask Greece.)
…and it’s just going to get worse…
Plans like Ryan’s will do almost nothing, nor will the traditional Republican desire to get rid of PBS. (But ending the war would have a slight effect.)
…but not as much as the Progressives would have you believe…
Not even “taxing the wealthy” by allowing the Bush era tax cuts to expire would do it…
…and taxing out way out would collapse the economy by forcing the “rich” and the corporations operating in the united States to seek safer locations (just ask France)…
How many of you middle class folks think you can handle half your income disappearing in taxes? (And that’s just federal…wait ’til the states and local governments decide to take a bigger bite.)
So if you can’t really afford to spend as much as you are, what do you do? If you’re not a politician spending other folks money, you budget (which they haven’t in three years) and you lower your spending (which they haven’t done since the 1920s.)
