Another point from the Hofstra debate was the president’s feeble attempt to hammer Romney on his connection to Uniview Technologies — a company that produces infrared cameras and other surveillance devices that Obama remarked were used to quell dissent in China.
Horror! Because we wouldn’t see an increase in warrantless electronic surveillance under the president’s administration, now given tacit approval by the Supreme Court…or murders of American citizens by drone attack without due process…or citywide Big Brother-style surveillance to prevent people from enjoying a 16+ ounce Turbo Gulp. (Hey, there could be terrorists, or something!)
