Julie Borowski over at FreedomWorks has an excellent list of reasons here.

But let’s just parse it for those who don’t want to click the link: It’s bloody expensive, it takes all curriculum control away from parents and teachers, it presents a dumbed-down, propaganda-filled, one size fits all set of “education” to the students, and is blatantly unconstitutional, while resurrecting failed curriculum ideas from NCLB.

In other words, it’s awful.
